My comments on Zachary's posts (Denzel Low [10])
I disagree with Zachary's point that criminals are caught easily using CCTVs because it really depends on how the criminal carries out his crime. If the criminal hid behind the counter and stole the money from there, it would be pointless if the CCTV were pointing in the wrong direction, thus not being able to capture the criminal's face. The criminal could also wear a mask while carrying out a crime, which is very common now a days. The criminal could also just hack the CCTV down if he were able to see where it was, thus destroying all footage of the crime. There are a lot more examples that can be raised, thus making the CCTV not so useful after all. However, it is useful for common everyday monitoring use, amongst other advantages.
