My thoughts on CCTV's in Singapore ( Raphael Goh 29)

I find that CCTVs should be used in Singapore, because it can help to make our lives much easier, for example, when we are sleeping at night and a loan shark who misread an address and comes knocking on our doors, he will think twice before vandalizing our house when he sees the CCTV monitoring him, even if he does so, he can easily be identified and apprehended. The same can be applied for thieves who are looking for a house to rob. CCTVs can also be placed inside of homes to monitor the maids and make sure they are doing their jobs properly. CCTVs placed in carparks and shopping malls will lower the rate of vandalism and thefts. Therefore I think that Singapore should use CCTVs in the light of the economic downturn and the rise of crimes
