My opinion on CCTV
Till this day, CCTV is very common all over the globe. It is largely used for surveillance and to deter terrorism. Although in many place crime rate has dropped due to the CCTVs, people might feel that their privacy are intruded. Now, dummy CCTVs are also sold. Real CCTVs cost about $100 to $400 while dummies cost about $4.50 to $50 and their very cost effective. Some malls have been using the dummies and commented that they have the same effect as the real CCTV. Although it does not provide surveillance, it saves a lot of money.CCTVs stationed in locations where crime rate is high can reduce the amount of crimes as the criminals wouldn't want to be caught on camera. CCTVs could save millions of lives and yours too.

San Yong you are right! Some people do pull off the lie that there is a CCTV around their premises which would protect the from unsavory elements. However, the fact that its very presence would act as a deterrent on those who want to willfully destroy or damage their property. The price of a dummy is very attractive too, compared to the real stuff! Ha ha.
